![]() This rumor would eventually fizzle away as others have, but the upcoming release of Elden Ring has kept the desire of a Bloodborne PC port in the forefront of fans’ minds. One of the largest drawbacks of the original game is its 30FPS framerate, which the “Hunter’s Edition” on PC would resolve by capping the game at 60FPS. Around this time saw the emergence of a supposed Bloodborne “Hunter’s Edition,” a remaster bringing the game with new content to PS5 and PC. Throughout 2020 and into 2021, Bloodborne PC port rumors would come and go, many slating an announcement for sometime this year, but in June 2021, they would catch a second wind. Immediately this set the precedent that if Horizon: Zero Dawn, and shortly after Day’s Gone and Death Stranding could make their way to PC, then Bloodborne should certainly be able to as well. A solid place to start would be with PlayStation bringing Horizon: Zero Dawn to PC in 2020, a landmark development, as it has been many years since PlayStation has released one of its first-party exclusive titles on PC. Truthfully, making sense of Bloodborne’s PC rumors has become quite an ordeal. This has resulted in many rumors of a PC port’s development, a history worth examining itself.Īpart from its visual and stylistic distinctions, Bloodborne emphasises and rewards more offensive gameplay, as opposed to the slower, methodical gameplay of earlier Socom games. Although the game is technically playable on PC through PlayStation Now, for years now, fans have been calling for an offiicial PC release of the game. Bloodborne released in 2015 for the PS4, and was eventually brought to PlayStation Now, Sony’s game streaming service, but has yet to be officially released on any other platform or console. Bloodborne takes players into the Lovecraftian realm of Yharnam as a Hunter, tasked with cleansing the streets of the once-human animals and ending the nightmare they’re imprisoned in, as opposed to the high-fantasy, mediaeval settings of earlier games.ĭespite the critical acclaim and resounding praise from fans, Bloodborne has not been playable for everyone who has wanted to. FromSoftware sought more innovation, extending their formula for a new generation of consoles, after kindling the Soulslike genre with Demon’s Souls and then refining it with Dark Souls. Nevertheless, while remaster of Bloodborne might end up happening one day, these pictures show a lot of such a change of scenery.Few games from the previous generation have had the same cultural influence as FromSoftware’s Bloodborne. It’s quite obvious that this is just a lazy photoshop.Īnd if that wasn’t enough of a tell on its own, one of the “leaked” images from the new version of Bloodborne was also ripped directly from a fan remake that some were working on. Clearly, whoever put this logo together did not do that very well because the E and D in “remastered” can be viewed clearly from a variety of different sizes of words. Perhaps the biggest bet that these images are fraudulent comes with a little closer looking at the logo. This was said to have come about at the show of today’s State of Play but, sadly, it has been proved that the pictures are just fakes. The game was said to be Bloodborne Remastered. One image even went so far to show the title of the game. The images were not all that clear, but showed them off images from Bloodborne that looked to have been made easy and interesting. Within the last day, a new set of images, seemingly leaked all the time, revealing the existence of a Bloodborne Remastered file appeared online. Although those rumors were later denied by Sony, a new set of rumors resurfaced that suggest the same thing. Earlier in the year, rumors appeared on the internet that suggested Bloodborne would be getting a PC release. Unfortunately, the “leak” in question didn’t show up as a result of the fraud. According to rumors circulating online, the Bloodborne PC port recently underwent a big round of playtesting. Sloth Mom claims that a 'very trusted source' confirmed to her that Bloodborne is coming to PC. ![]() Sony never made these wishes, so the new rumor has started to help fans keep up with their hopes. Recently, the Band of Bloodborne fans said they liked it for a while. When we began a new game this afternoon, there were some reports that an acclaimed version of the PlayStation 4 classic Bloodborne were not heard.
